Byakuya (白夜 Byakuya) is a priestess from The Moon. She shows the mysterious power to wield Chizakura when she fights Maimai, and turns into a beautiful young woman. In the last volume she says that she was the founder of the moon kingdom and disguised herself as an old woman to hide her silver hair.
Appearance[]
In her disguised form, Byakuya appears as a short old woman with long white hair, that she keeps pinned back with a red bow, who is wearing a red and white kimono. Once she reveales her true form, she becomes a tall, beautiful woman, with golden eyes and narrow pupils, that symbolize her being from the moon kingdom. while her hair and clothing remain largely the same after her transformation, she also gains a headdress with red pearls.
